Exclusive images and espionage plans are previewed by the new 2023 BMW 3 Series, coded G20, which could be accompanied by a Tesla all-electric electric model.The next BMW 3 Series was spotted by our spy photographers, this time showing a car with a body closer to what we expect from the final production model.
2023 BMW 3 Series Redesign
The new style of the 3 series is evolutionary, rather than revolutionary – no surprises in what is a conservative class. It seems to sit wider than the current model and should feature a new front bumper in aggressive style, while retaining the grid matched to BMW’s signature. Other BMW style clues such as the Hofmeister fold – a curved rear pillar design seen on BMW since the 1960s are also expected on the new model.
Although BMW does not reveal much about the interior of the car, it should include digital gauges replacing more conventional analogs. The company’s latest iDrive entertainment system, with voice activation and gestural control, should also appear in this new car.

Often, the interior of the 3 Series has been considered dated, we expect the new 3 Series to provide a more premium cabin than the current generation while retaining its sporting DNA. According to our sources inside Munich, the new series 3 will be lighter than its predecessor by a considerable margin. By using lightweight materials in its chassis and body, the new sedan will seek to claim its first spot in the segment as it has been over the past 40 years.
2023 BMW 3 Series Engine and Powertrain
The G20 3 Series is designed to minimize the CO2 emission mark by 100 g / km by introducing the stingy three-cylinder engine on the near premium segment. While the new 316i will be powered by the 1.5-liter 136bhp unit we know from the 218i, the 316d shares its 122bhp diesel with the Mini Cooper D. One step, the 2.0-liter modular furnaces will represent the Lion sharing Future Series 3 sales.

The 2023 BMW 3-Series to make its debut next autumn, possibly at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2024, with sales starting in early 2023.
