This model was produced until 1954 and again from 1990 to 1993. In 2006, Chrysler presented the all-new Imperial concept. Today, rumors are saying the 2024 Chrysler Imperial will finally arrive. According to the concept, this car will use a company’s LY platform and it will deliver premium and upright exterior design.
The interior will offer nothing but the luxury and the price should be “affordable” for such a stylish model. Some speculations are going further and saying the 2024 Imperial will be a Chrysler 300C model but with the longer wheelbase. New Imperial will deploy a turbocharged unit, probably gasoline and it will offer a 9-speed auto transmission and AWD system.

Over a decade ago when the concept was in trend, FCA didn’t say anything about the engine. The only detail is that the Imperial will produce 340 horsepower and it could reach 160 mph. Now, twelve years later, there are still no words about the possible drivetrain. Latest speculations are suggesting a 1.4 or 1.8-liter engine with the turbocharger.
The diesel variant is very unlikely, at least for the 2024 model. The 2024 Chrysler Imperial will offer an all-new ZF 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive configuration. Fuel economy will be more than good for the segment. We’ll have to wait a little more for full engine details.

Plenty of polished aluminum should be available, along with the LED headlights and taillights. The cabin will be enlarged thanks to the roofline that was pulled toward the rear. The idea of Imperial is actually to look like a shorter variant of Rolls Royce. Again, some speculations are saying this model will be closer to the Chrysler 300C from the outside.

The interior of the all-new 2024 Chrysler Imperial will be premium, no doubt about it. There will be a couple of trim levels and even the base model will be more than upscale. Plenty of legroom is something we expect and even the headroom should be ample. A quiet cabin with nothing but the luxury will be offered and interior design will be amazing.
The dashboard will be unique and the customers can expect plenty of high-tech amenities. New infotainment system, Bluetooth, a larger touchscreen and similar features will be standard. We don’t need to talk about comfort as the leather seats will be standard.
2024 Chrysler Imperial Price and Release Date
Interestingly, the 2024 Chrysler Imperial will be an “affordable” car. It won’t come cheap but it will be more affordable than the rest of the competition. Have in mind that this is a luxury car.
The price will start at around $50,000 and the upper trims will cost up to $70,000. The brand-new Imperial will hit the markets in the first half of 2024.
