A prototype of the Power Wagon variant was spotted in the streets of Detroit, wearing a lot of camouflage. From what we saw, this model will continue to look robust, definitely more than the regular Ram 2500 truck.
The Power Wagon is an off-road version that adds more equipment, but the interior is also improved over the base model. The crew cab setup is available and the manufacturer offers a potent 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine. No doubt, this is one very capable heavy-duty off-roader and the sales will begin by the end of 2021. Gasoline and Diesel Engine Specs
Nothing will change under the hood. New 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon will once again offer a standard 6.4-liter V8 Hemi gasoline engine. This unit is capable of producing 410 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. A four-wheel-drive system is standard, along with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
However, an optional 6.7-liter Cummins engine is the highlight of this model. This turbodiesel engine develops 400 hp and up to 900 lb-ft of torque. We can’t say if the gasoline engine will gain more power, but the diesel variant will introduce more torque.

Despite the heavy camouflage, some novelties are easy to spot. The 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon will look closer to the 75th Anniversary Edition model, especially the front fascia. While the LED headlights are unchanged, the grille is more attractive and wider than before.
It is the recognizable “jail bar” grille but we can’t say if the blacked-out RAM lettering hides beneath the camo. To the sides, Ram Power Wagon looks handsome and modern. This truck rides on standard 17-inch eight-spoke wheels, finished in black color. The side step and rock rails are offered as standard.
Interior Changes
On the inside, the manufacturer will deliver a couple of updates. The goal is to make the cabin more competitive and to rival Ford Super Duty. The 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon will introduce an updated infotainment system and even more driver-assistance aids. As this off-road variant is based on the Ram 2500 truck, the cabin design is the same.
The interior layout is also the same, but Crew Cab configuration will be on offer, which is good news. There will be room for five passengers and Power Wagon will offer a larger 12-inch touchscreen as standard. That, this model offers leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and a premium audio system.

The all-new 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon will hit the dealerships in the last quarter of 2021. This off-road truck will cost around $55,000, according to various reports. The manufacturer is yet to announce official details. We expect to see even more upgrades, especially in terms of power.
